Dr. David Seefeldt
Dr. Dave is one of the most experienced doctors from our knowledgeable staff here at the Airdrie Animal Health Centre. His interest in science and biology led him to follow a career in veterinary medicine. He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practising ever since. Right from graduation, Dr. Dave has worked exclusively with AAHA certified clinics. In 2001, he joined the Airdrie Animal Health Centre because he wanted to continue to contribute to the dedication of excellence that is required of AAHA clinics such as ours. Dave’s favourite parts of his profession include performing surgical procedures, ophthalmology and preventive health care. Dave loves the group of individuals he gets to work with daily in the clinic. As one of the chief designers of the clinic interior, Dave also played a huge roll on the beautiful and functional layout of the new clinic.
In his spare time, Dave loves to be active. He enjoys playing hockey, weight lifting and walking his two dogs, Jack and Sawyer. Jack is a chocolate lab who is as food motivated as any lab ever is but still howls like a hound. Sawyer, a black lab, is the lemon of the family; he has hip dysplasia and two surgically repaired knees due to ACL tears.
