Hi, my name is Megan Storey, and I am one of the client care specialists here at the Airdrie Animal Health Centre. I am one of the many smiling faces that will first greet you when you enter the clinic. I have been a part of the AAHC team for just over a year now and loved every minute of it. I enjoy interacting with the clients and their pets.
I have always had an interest in veterinary medicine which motivated me to complete both my Veterinary Technical Assistant and Veterinary Medical Receptionist programs from Olds College. Currently, I am working toward my Animal Health Technologist diploma from Olds College. I not only wanted to create relationships with the clients but I want to help impact the care and treatment that their pets need.
I currently have one dog of my own named Sable. Sable is one of sweetest black labs who I rescued from AARCS. She loves to cuddle and is always looking for attention. Outside of work, I love to go hiking, kayaking, and taking in some theatre productions.
With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that effective May 25, 2020 the restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will then meet you outside to bring your pet into the hospital for an examination. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.

3. ONLINE CONSULTATIONS ARE AVAILABLE
