Leah has been a long-term member of the Airdrie Animal Health Centre team. Leah started out as a veterinary assistant eight years ago and since has taken on a role as a client care specialist as well. She likes the diversity of working with clients face to face, as well as helping with the medical treatments of patients. The aspect of veterinary medicine that fascinates Leah the most are surgeries, especially unique ones that we don’t get to see routinely.
The best part of her job is seeing the long-term development of patients: both the improvements in the health of sick patients as well as the growth of young patients into adults. She loves the ongoing relationships she develops with clients as our clinic helps their animals throughout their lives.
Leah is always busy balancing life in the clinic with life at home. She and her husband have two young daughters as well as two dogs. Her one dog, Sophie, is a chronically winking French Bulldog mix with only one eye and her other dog, Keo, is a 10-year-old Shepherd cross.
